How does Conflict Boss work?
Package 1: The Fully Functioning Program
Conflict Boss offers two packages for Universities. The first package allows for the University to hire Conflict Boss to assist in implementing and developing a fully functioning dispute resolution program for their students. Students will have the opportunity to work with coaches or mediators either through instant message, email, telephone or in-person sessions. Coach/Mediator positions will be offered to students and faculty as a volunteer position. This is an excellent opportunity for students to expand their college resume for future opportunities.
Through this package, after initial set-up and development, the University will retain control of the program and how it is run, whom to hire as coordinator, as well as the training of coaches. Conflict Boss will assist during this transition time.
Package 2: Remote Dispute Resolution Services
The second package leaves the dispute resolution responsibilities solely in Conflict Boss’ hands. Like our business packages, the University will hire Conflict Boss to provide dispute resolution services to their students through monthly fee packages. Students will have the opportunity to confidentially and conveniently reach out to coaches and mediators via instant message, email, telephone, video conference and in-person sessions. In turn, Universities will receive valuable statistical data gathered during coaching sessions such as complaints on campus/housing policies, academic dishonesty issues, violence in residence halls and so forth.
